This Privacy Policy describes how ChefSynk (“we,” “our,” or “us”) collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use our mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

We collect information that you voluntarily provide to us, as well as information collected automatically through your use of the Services.
Personal Information. This may include:

- Phone number
- Business name and business address
- Account login credentials
Usage and Device Information. We may automatically collect:
- IP address
- Device type, operating system, and browser type
- App usage data and diagnostic information
Location Information. The ChefSynk Driver app collects precise location data (GPS) from your device. Location data is collected:
- While the app is in use (Foreground): To enable delivery assignment, navigation, and route optimization.
- While the app is running in the background: To enable real-time delivery tracking and verification of service completion, subject to user permissions granted on your device.
Location data is used solely for delivery-related functionality and is not shared with third parties for advertising purposes. This data is automatically deleted after 7 days.
Additional Information. Any other information you choose to provide through forms, communications, or in-app interactions.
02How We Use Your Information
We use collected information only for legitimate business and service-related purposes, including:
- Providing, operating, and maintaining the Services
- Managing user accounts and authentication
- Communicating with you regarding support, updates, and inquiries
- Improving app functionality, performance, and user experience
- Ensuring platform security and fraud prevention
- Enabling real-time delivery tracking and route optimization using location data
- Complying with legal obligations and enforcing our policies
We do not use personal data for sale, advertising resale, or unauthorized profiling.
03Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Data is transmitted using secure protocols where applicable.
04Data Retention
We retain different types of data for different periods based on their purpose:

All data is retained only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Once the retention period expires, data is permanently and securely deleted from our servers. In cases where legal, regulatory, or security obligations require it, certain minimal data may be retained beyond these periods.
05Account Deletion and How to Delete Your Data
You have full control over your data. You can request deletion via email: send a deletion request to contact@chefsynk.com with the subject line “Account Deletion Request” and include your registered email address.
What happens after your request:
- Your request will be verified within 3 business days.
- Your account and all associated personal data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of verification.
- You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
- Location data is automatically deleted within 7 days regardless of account status.
- Certain data may be retained if required by law, security, or regulatory obligations — you will be informed if this applies to your request.
You also have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request a copy of your data
- Withdraw consent at any time

06Sharing of Information
We may share personal information with trusted third-party service providers solely for purposes such as:
- Hosting infrastructure
